Dr Ahmed Altabakh is a highly experienced General Practitioner with over 15 years of dedicated practice in family medicine. He is known for his comprehensive, patient-centred approach and his strong commitment to delivering high-quality medical care across all stages of life. Dr Altabakh places a clear emphasis on evidence-based practice while maintaining a holistic perspective that considers each patient’s physical, psychological, social, and cultural wellbeing.

Dr Altabakh completed his medical degree at Al-Azhar University in Cairo, Egypt. He holds an International Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP INT) and is also a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), reflecting his adherence to internationally recognised standards of general practice. In addition, he holds a Professional Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery, further strengthening his advanced clinical skills and procedural expertise.

His main clinical interests include skin cancer care and screening, dermatological conditions, and chronic disease management. Dr Altabakh has extensive experience in the assessment, diagnosis, and long-term management of complex medical conditions, with a strong focus on preventative care, early detection, and patient education. He is dedicated to developing individualised management plans that support sustainable health outcomes and empower patients to actively participate in their care.

Dr Altabakh also has experience in providing care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients and is committed to culturally safe practice.
